Get started with our instore application:

  1. To apply instore all you will need to bring with you is some photo ID and proof of address dating back the last three months
  2. Accepted Photo ID:
    1. Drivers License
    2. Passport
    3. Current Student Card
  3. Accepted Proof of address (from the last 3 months):
    1. Utility Bill
    2. Bank Statement
    3. Council Tax Bill
  4. Once a contract has been signed you can leave with the instrument or arrange delivery with our logistics team.

Get started with our online application:

  1. To apply online add the item to your basket and checkout. When you come to the payment method screen select 'Rental' and place order (no payment will be taken at this point).
  2. We will send you a followup email asking for your:
    1. Personal details
    2. Employment details
    3. Student details (if applicable)
    4. Documentation (ID and Proof of address)
    5. Declaration
  3. Pay the first months rent.
  4. Electronically sign your rental contract.
  5. Begin playing your new delivered instrument

If your looking to learn a new instrument or unsure the instrument will be right for you, our Money Back Rental policy lets you try before you buy for as little as £8 a month. if you decide to purchase or upgrade the instrument within the first 6 months of renting, you could receive 100% of your money back off the price of the instrument.

Buy the instrument your renting:

  • 6 months or less - Keep 100% of what you've paid
  • 6 - 12 months - retain 70% of what you've paid
  • 12 months or over - 40% of what you've paid
  • If you decide to purchase a different instrument of a higher retail value in the first year, we still make the same allowances.

We are currently only able to offer our Money Back Rental if you live in the area marked, however, we can deliver across the entire country for payment by cash, card, or bank transfer.

We do offer a separate scheme for acoustic pianos further afield and we are expanding our logistics operation all the time so please contact one of our experts to discuss if you live outside of the area and we'll do our best to help.

How to apply for rental online? 

To apply for a rental online, add the items to your basket and checkout. When you come to the payment method screen select 'Rental' and place order (no payment will be taken at this point).

How do you return a rental instrument?

After your minimum rental period, you can return the instrument by simply visiting us instore. You will be asked to sign a rental termination form after inspection of the item.

What if I live outside the catchment area?

If you live outside the catchment area please get in touch. This does not mean you wont be accepted as our logistics operation is expenading all the time.

What is fast track rental?

A Fast Track Rental is perfect for students or those outside of the catchment area. You pay the full instrument value as a deposit and the monthly rental is taken from this until it runs out then a direct debit will start. What if I want to rent an instrument for less than the minimum hire period?

We do hire out instruments to touring musicians and one of shows. please get in touch for what is available.

I am a student what do I need to apply for rental?

  • Address during term time
  • Address during holidays
  • College/university name and address
  • Student email address
  • Course being studied
  • Tutor’s name
  • How long you have left of the course

I am self-employed what do I need to apply for rental?

  • Business address
  • Contact number
  • 2 business referees including an accountant if possible. Name, address, relationship & contact number

I am currently unemployed or between work can I still apply for rental?

  • A guarantor will be required. They will need to sign a guarantor agreement and complete a declaration to allow us to run a credit check on them.
  • Proof of current address and details of the nearest relative will still be required

What information will you require if I am a Housewife/husband or Stay at home mum/dad?

  • We need proof of income to finance the agreement (can be a partner living at the same address)
