Classical Organs
Cookes have been supplying classical church organs to churches and homes around the country since the late 1960’s. In those days British manufacturers such as Miller Organs (built here in Norwich), Compton & Livingston dominated the market.
Today’s instruments represent a quantum leap in both tonal quality and reliability. The latest classical organs use a range of advanced digital sampling technology’s enabling them to capture and deliver the authentic richness and nuances found on some of the worlds finest pipe organs. |
During the past 12 months an increasing number of our home customers have requested that their new organ be installed upstairs. Very often, a spare bedroom suddenly becomes “The Organ Loft” and yes, you can use headphones so as not to disturb the rest of the family or the neighbours!
If you are considering an instrument upstairs, then on request, one of our skilled delivery team can assess the access and stairs to see whether or not this is possible. Please do remember some of the new classical organs we supply are built to be as compact and as home – friendly as possible and are often available with a ‘split console’ option. |
